I love Diane Hender’s heroine, Aydan Kelly, fighting the good fight in Alberta, Canada. A great series about a reluctant spy.

  2. Bill says

Sorilla Aida from the Warriors Wings series by Evan Currie. On Silver Wings is the first book. Great character and fast paced book but is sci fi rather than thriller.

  3. says

I only know a few of these, but I love the topic. I would add Kay Scarpetta by Patricia Cornwell and Louise Monroe from the Jackson Brodie series by Kate Atkinson. Also, I love the description you give of Ava “Spike” Harrison in The Concrete Pearl by Vincent Zandri. Construction companies are so male-dominated!

Thanks for this amazing list :)
